Ahoy, Michelle!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for sailing by with this important question. I love that your girls have their eyes set on sailing with Captain Mickey aboard Disney Cruise Line! There is so much to do onboard for pirate princesses of all ages! From exciting
Youth Clubs to the
Chill Spa just for teens 13 to 17 years of age, they will have a blast during their cruise!
The last thing you want is for the motion of the ocean to ruin your time onboard! I'm happy to share that we haven't experienced rough waters on the majority of cruises sailing to the Caribbean or Bahamas. Since you're very prone to motion sickness, I completely understand being concerned about where your stateroom is located. In my opinion, a Midship stateroom with a verandah on the lowest deck possible would be the best place to minimize the motion of the ship.
Michelle, even if you're not able to book a stateroom that fits the above criteria exactly, I notice that when my family sets sail on Disney Cruises, we spend tons of time during the day on deck and around the ship enjoying all the delicious food and fun activities! The majority of the time we're in our stateroom, we're fast asleep, dreaming of all the fun we're going to have the next day!
I hope I was able to give you a good recommendation where the best future home away from home would be while sailing the high seas! If you have any other questions, please sail back and visit us again!
