    Would girls enjoy Jedi Training Academy? Also does the child have to be present for sign up or can my husband take the kids on a ride while I sign them up. Thanks so much!

    Hi Linda! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    In my opinion young Padawans do not need to be boys to enjoy and join in on all of the fun of the Jedi Training Academy. As a matter of fact, I get such joy out of watching the girls learn how to use the Force to defeat the Dark Side! The smiles that I have seen on little girls faces when they participate in this special experience are absolutely priceless!

    All children that are looking to find their Force to defeat the Dark Side do in fact need to be present to sign up for Jedi Training Academy. I always tell my kids that this sign up is what starts their training process and sign up is when they decide if they really want to take the Jedi oath!

    Lastly, I am see that you are arriving in early January 2016. At this time, the Jedi Training Academy is undergoing some galactic enhancements. I am hoping that by the time you arrive a new attraction will be available to enjoy!

    I hope that you have a beautiful family vacation filled with memories that will last a lifetime!
