My girls want to eat the mickey waffles served at Chef Mickey's. We have done Chef Mickey's 5 times. Is there another restaurant we can get the breakfast, we don't need the character dining. Thanks!

    Hi Lisa,

You are in luck! While it's great to feast on Mickey Waffles with Chef Mickey himself, it is fun to try something new. Though selections can occasionally vary, you can normally find the iconic waffles at two of my favorite breakfast buffets: Trail's End at Fort Wilderness and Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

For an elegant atmosphere, try Mickey waffles (including multigrain) at Grand Floridian Cafe.

The kids breakfast menu at Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge has them, too. That isn't a character breakfast, but it is a breakfast with character as the cast members serve up a sassy attitude with your meal.

For a change of pace, Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Village Resort has Mickey-shaped pancakes on its kids breakfast menu.

If you want your character waffles fast and no-frills, you might want to try quick serve spots in resorts such as Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary, Landscape of Flavors at Art of Animation, Artists Palette at Saratoga Springs or the Riverside Mill Food Court at Port Orleans Riverside.

Thanks for checking in with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you find the perfect place or places for your daughter's favorite Disney breakfast treat. Enjoy!
