Lora from WA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My girls are going to Disneyland and two of them have been diagnosed with CMT. It makes it really hard to walk for a full day, I can bring a dr's note. Is there a way they don't have to wait in line?

    Greetings Lora!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am really looking forward to your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. The Disneyland Resort is always committed to providing a magical and inclusive vacation experience for all Guests. If anyone has a disability that would prevent them from standing in long lines or with mobility issues, there are some great resources available to them.

When you first arrive at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, make sure to stop by a Guest Relations Main Entrance location to discuss your daughters' condition and concerns with how it may affect their days at the parks. If mobility is a concern, there are wheelchair and ECV (if operator is at least 18 years old) rentals available on a first-come, first-served basis each morning as well. Guest Relations will determine the best accommodations for your daughters which may include the Disability Access Service. This service allows Guests to virtually wait in an attraction line and return at a specific time to ride.

Your daughters would also be able to benefit from Disney MaxPass which can be added to their park tickets upon arrival. With this feature they can make Disney FASTPASS selections easily from a mobile device to bypass the standby queues of many attractions throughout the entire day. We have been able to ride so many attractions with virtually no wait using this service.

If you have any other questions, feel free to visit us again. Have a magical day!
