    My girls 5 and 9 are collectors. Are there places throughout the parks to buy individual charms, rather than sets, that the girls could add to a bracelet? Thought this would be a nice keepsake from our trip.

    Hi Kim,

    You are in luck!  Actually my daughter started one of these bracelets in Disneyland, but has since finished it with charms from Walt Disney World.  This has been such a fun thing for her to look forward to on each trip we go on.  She saves up her own money (makes it a more special experience for her) and then she buys 2 or 3 charms to add to her bracelet.

    Okay.....here are the details, in all of the main gift shops I have been in (we mostly go to the ones in the resorts, but they are also in the parks and Downtown Disney), they have these large square stands.  You can pick a bracelet (which has a Mickey head charm covered in white gems...they look like diamonds already attached to the bracelet) and there are little compartments in this stand filled with different charms to purchase and can be easily clipped on.  This is not real jewelry (if you know what I mean), but it does not matter as it is a very unique piece of jewelry which can be created by them.  Each one will bear charms that are special memory pieces for them (i.e. Cinderella's castle, a certain princess, their favorite character or attraction, etc...).  Best of all......it's affordable, the price points are very reasonable in my opinion.  I hope this helps and have fun!!!!!

    Just in case you are looking for something along the lines of 10k, 14k, or 18k which of course will cost much more....they do have jewelery shops located at different locations throughout Disney World  with individual charms as well for the more expensive gold bracelet.
