My girls have an appt at the boutique at the time our dinner starts. How late can we be to dinner to be seated?

    Ahoy there, Farah!

Welcome aboard planDisney! It sounds like you’ve got a pixie-dusted plan already in the works, and I can only imagine how excited your girls must be to visit the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! There’s something truly magical about watching little ones transform into royalty right before your eyes—and there’s no better place to do it than while sailing the high seas with Captain Minnie.

Now, about that appointment overlapping with your dining time—this is a great question, and I love that you're already thinking through the details to keep everything smooth sailing for your family and your amazing Dining Team.

Technically, yes—you can still be seated if you're running late for your rotational dining time, but I recommend giving your dining team a heads-up if you’ll be more than 10-15 minutes behind schedule. While they will always do their best to accommodate, especially for little princesses with freshly styled hair and fairy dust still sparkling, arriving too late can put a little pressure on your servers—especially if you’re in the early dining time before the second seating begins.

If your reservation isn’t on embarkation day, I suggest letting your servers know the night before so they can prepare accordingly and advise you on the options. I’ve done this before with my own crew when we had overlapping plans, and our servers were more than happy to adjust things. They really do go above and beyond to make your dining experience feel like a happily ever after, but keep in mind that they may not be able to accommodate arriving 30-45 minutes late.

If your Boutique appointment is on the first night, your best bet is to check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you board the ship and look for the “Onboard Dining Session” event. This is a great time to speak with the Dining Team directly to see if they can work some Disney magic to accommodate a slightly later arrival.

Another tip I always recommend is checking the app often for earlier openings at the Boutique. As families shift plans, appointments sometimes pop up unexpectedly—and stopping by in person once onboard (or checking with Guest Services) never hurts either.

I hope this helps as you plan out your enchanted evening onboard. Watching your little ones walk into dinner still glowing from their royal transformation is truly one of those Disney Cruise Line memories you’ll treasure forever.

Sea ya real soon with a June full of sun, sea, and shipshape adventures,
