Celestial Greetings, Marjorie!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for soaring by with your question. How exciting that you are gravitating towards a visit to the
Star View Member Lounge - a Members-only space - during your upcoming visit to
Disneyland with your friends. Our family just returned from a Disneyland vacation, and the Member Lounge is a great place to refuel our pixie dust (and our phones), with complimentary snacks, drinks, seating, restrooms, and phone chargers.
Marjorie, eligible Members (those eligible for Member Extras) can visit the Star View Member Lounge, along with four Guests - or the number of Guests booked on their Resort reservation (whichever is greater). So, as long as your five friends are on your Resort reservation, booked within your Membership, you should be able to bring in all five of them. If you are visiting Disneyland as a day guest and not staying on your Membership, I would recommend speaking to the Cast Member. Typically, in this case, they will limit you to the four Guest limit; however, you can speak with the Cast Member at check-in.
A few things to note, Marjorie, are that you will need to show your Digital Member ID and a government-issued Photo ID to enter the Member Lounge. Additionally, your party must be complete and with you at the time of check-in to be able to enter the lounge. Sometimes, the Member Lounges go to a waitlist. If this happens, the Cast Member will instruct you on how to put your name on the list and the process for returning. The lounge is open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily (subject to change) and it is on the second floor of the Star Wars Launch Bay at Disneyland Park (right near
Alien Pizza Planet.)
I hope this helps you, Margorie, and you have a blast during your time at Disneyland! If you have any further questions, launch them here and I'll be so happy to land an answer for you.
To infinity and beyond!
Keri
