Hi Emerson!
Congratulations on your first visit to Walt Disney World!
Be sure that you pick up 'First Visit' buttons as you check in at Coronado Springs or at Guest Services in the parks!
The type of
Park Tickets that are best for you, really depend on what you'd like to do during your holiday together!
If your main focus
isn't the theme parks, and you'd like to spend a whole day at Downtown Disney and/or lots of time by the pool at your beautiful resort, then it sounds like you've likely bought the right ticket. Your 2-day Park Hopper will allow you entry into any of the four parks for 2 days of your 4 day stay, and you can exit and enter multiple parks in the same day. In this case you might visit Magic Kingdom one morning and Epcot for the afternoon ... and another day starting out at Animal Kingdom and ending the day at Hollywood Studios, with two days remaining in your stay where you would be unable to enter a park.
If however you're
all about the theme parks, and you'd like to plan to spend almost a whole day at each of the four parks, then your better value in a ticket would be the 4-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket. This ticket would allow you to visit one park per day of your 4-day stay for approximately $40 more than you're paying for your 2-day ticket with Park Hopping. You'd still be able to visit Downtown Disney any evening (such as after your day Animal Kingdom since it closes earlier than the other parks).
I hope this information helps you decide if this is the right ticket for you and your girlfriend, or if you'd like to switch your ticket type.
Feel free to write back if I can be of further assistance to you Emerson!
Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel and I wish you a Magical time on your first ever Walt Disney World vacation!
