My girlfriend and I will be traveling to Disney World in August to celebrate her birthday and graduation. Do you have any ideas on how to surprise her? I am on a budget and need something less expensive but I want to really surprise her. Thanks!

    Hi there, Chris!

What a wonderful celebration you're going to have with your girlfriend at Walt Disney World! Those are two pretty special occasions and you're definitely in store for some magic!

There are so many fun surprises that you can put together that won't cost you a whole ton of money.

I think it's really fun to pick things up at home before I actually arrive at Disney. You can really find some super cute Disney things at Target and other different retailers. It might be fun one morning when you are down in the lobby to maybe have "forgotten" something in your room. You could run back upstairs and set out what you've brought as a surprise for when you return later in the day.

You could buy some silk rose petals at a craft store before you leave home. Sprinkle them in your Resort room and mention that a princess should always walk on rose petals and watch for an Ear to Ear smile!

Something that I think is extra special and adds such a wonderful finish to a great day of Park touring is one of the Fireworks Dessert Parties. You can choose from the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom Park or the IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party at Epcot. Both parties are simply fabulous and the cost has been pretty affordable. You can get pricing for the exact date you have in mind right online and reservations are typically accepted 60-days in advance.

I sure hope I've given you a good place to start, Chris! Please write back in if we can give you some more ideas!

Wishing you a Pixie Dusted vacation!
