    Hi My girlfriend is taking me to disney world in may as my 40th birthday present, we are staying at the Saratoga Springs resort, do you have any suggestions for celebrating my birthday while we are there.

    Congratulations Alan on celebrating a milestone birthday! I can't think of a better place to be to feel younger!



    There are many super ideas to celebrate birthdays while at Disney.  There are some terrific dining options for date night such as the wine dinner at Citricos or Flying Fish. Or a nice dinner at California Grill followed by watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the outdoor area.  If you want a very private evening then consider renting a pontoon boat and taking a fireworks cruise either for the Magic Kingdom or Epcot's Illuminations. You can add some champagne and cake or strawberries from room service at the home resort and make it even more special.



    Make sure a cake is ordered for wherever you choose to dine on your birthday. Call the cake hotline at 407-827-2253.  I love to have things ordered for the room when our family has a special occasion and you can do that through the florist at 407-827-3505.



    Other fun things to do for adults include JellyRolls night spot where they have dueling pianos on the Boardwalk every evening. Or take in a showing of Cirque Du Soleil one evening.  If you are looking for day activities consider para-sailing from the Contemporary, horseback riding at Fort Wilderness, or hiring a fishing guide at many of the resorts.  The ideas are endless and will depend on your interests! Whatever you choose will be memorable and a birthday you will never forget!
