Greetings, Nick!
Welcome foolish mortals to planDisney! As I look into my crystal ball, I foresee a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort for you later this summer. You are planning a visit near the beginning of the spooky season. I am getting a clear vision of you and your family enjoying the holiday decorations in the Magic Kingdom during
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This event has returned this year to offer you a hauntingly good time. Returning this year by spooktacular demand is
Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, featuring your favorite Disney Characters all dressed up for Halloween. The skies will light up with fiendish delight during
Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, inspired by Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas. Both of you will feel like a kid again while you Trick-Or-Treat through the park.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party does not require a Park Pass Reservation because the spirits have placed you on their guest list when you purchased your special event ticket. They have also granted all Guests early access to the Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM. When you arrive you will scan your method of entry at the Main Entrance and the Cast Members will give you a special event wristband. This will allow you to remain in the park when the party begins.
The spirits are easily frightened by large crowds, so this event has a limited number of Guests attending.
Genie+ will not be in operation once the park closes to regular Guests. I have been to this event several times in past years and the wait times for all attractions are minimal. You could use Genie+ if you are planning to enjoy some rides and attractions during the early access hours before the party starts. Guests who plan to use Genie+ need a valid theme park admission ticket and park pass reservation. Guests with the
Park Hopper Option added to their admission can use Genie+ in the
Magic Kingdom prior to the start of the party. Unfortunately, party Guests with just the special admission ticket to the event will not be able to use Genie+ with that form of admission.
You will still have a spell-tacular time. Do not forget to ask your
PhotoPass Photographer for the special Halloween Party magic shots to capture every frightful moment.
Happy Halloween,
Andrea
