Hey howdy hey, Patrick!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for swinging by with your question about
Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes. It sounds like your girlfriend is an Annual Passholder whose pass recently expired. Not to worry, Patrick! I'm happy to help you understand the options Guests have for renewing their Annual Passes - you've got a friend in me!
Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholders have the ability to visit the theme parks frequently throughout the year and enjoy exclusive
benefits and offers. Patrick, I'm happy to inform you that Guests may
renew their passes up to 60 days before and 30 days after their pass expires. That means that your girlfriend's Annual Pass should still be eligible for renewal! Most passes may be renewed online, in person at any theme park ticket booth or Disney Springs Guest Relations location, or over the phone via the
Annual Passholders phone line. If a Guest uses the
Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program to pay for their pass in monthly installments, they must either renew online or in person. Patrick, even if a Guest renews their pass after it expires, the renewed pass will still expire one year from its original
expiration date, so I encourage your girlfriend to renew and start using her Annual Pass as soon as possible to maximize the magic!
Pending availability, Guests may choose to upgrade their existing Annual Passes to a higher tier of pass type. This can be beneficial for Guests who hope to visit the theme parks more frequently in the coming year with fewer
blockout dates! There's so much to look forward to at the Walt Disney World Resort in 2024, Patrick. Starting next year, Annual Passholders will be able to take advantage of
'good-to-go days' - select days on which theme park reservations will not be required. Also,
Tiana's Bayou Adventure will be opening in Magic Kingdom Park in 2024, offering Guests a fresh and flavorful Frontierland experience!
Patrick, I'm wishing you and your girlfriend the rootin'est tootin'est time in the theme parks in the coming year! If you have any more questions about your Walt Disney World Resort visits, feel free to mosey back to
planDisney again anytime. We're here to help with
all of your questions - to infinity and beyond!
So long partner,
Lauren
