Hello, my girlfriend and I are going to Disneyland Anaheim for the first time this August. We are really hoping to buy tickets for a Oogie Boogie Bash evening. Do you know if it is possible to buy tickets from the Netherlands? Thank you very much

    Hi, Edward!

Welcome back to planDisney, and thank you for sending another question our way! Since you clearly enjoy visiting Walt Disney World Resort, I have no doubt you’ll fall in love with Disneyland Resort too.

Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party is truly one of the best events at Disneyland! My family loves it! Tickets are typically sold on the Disneyland website, as you may know. My research turned up mixed information, so I wasn’t able to confirm whether Guests can purchase tickets directly from the Netherlands. I’m sorry I can’t give you a more definite answer!

Because of that uncertainty, I recommend reaching out to a local travel agent, ideally one who is an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. They’ve completed Disney-specific training and can offer guidance on how to secure Oogie Boogie Bash tickets. Since the event typically sells out quickly, getting help early is a smart move! If you don’t already have a travel agent in mind, try searching online, checking local social media groups, or asking friends and family for recommendations. Personal referrals often lead to the best experiences!

Did you know that Guests can usually dress up in costumes for Oogie Boogie Bash and go trick‑or‑treating among the villains? My family loves choosing a theme when we go, and the year we dressed as characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas was one of our favorites. I did make the mistake of wearing an Oogie Boogie fleece onesie that was way too warm…I definitely don’t recommend that! Just be sure your costume follows the guidelines on the Disneyland website, and remember that costumes generally can’t be worn in the parks outside of party hours. Feel free to bring your costume to store in a locker before the party!

Edward, I hope you have a fantastic visit to Disneyland! We hope to see you real soon!

    Magic Happens!
