My Disney Experience mobile app are a fun way to personalize your profile and make planning a little more animated! I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble seeing one another's characters, so let's explore a few trouble-shooting options that might bring your characters back to life!
Scott, I've also had this issue happen at random times with guests connected on my
Family & Friends List, so here are some of the tips I can offer to see if you can maybe reset the app:
- Make sure that you are sharing "All My Plans" with one another on the mobile app.
- Try changing your character avatar to a new one and see if it shows up. If it does, change it back, and it could reset the problem.
- Try uninstalling and reinstalling the My Disney Experience mobile app, and make sure it is running the most updated version.
- Try logging out and logging back into your My Disney Experience account.
- Give a Cast Member at My Disney Experience a call to see if they can offer any other suggestions or fix the issue remotely.
Scott, the good news is that even when the character avatars don't show up properly, you are still connected and can still make and share plans with one another on the app and online. While it can be frustrating not to see the characters, it shouldn't affect your planning or any other functions of the app or your account.
