Do you have a Girl Scout program? If so, what does this entail?

    Hiya Crystal,

Welcome to planDisney! I remember my time as a Brownie fondly, so I am super excited to chat with you about this today.

While Walt Disney World Resort doesn’t have a formal Girl Scout program, there are a number of different ways you could potentially bring a little magical flair to your troop. First, check with your regional Girl Scouts organization. While researching your question, I saw that a number of Girl Scout groups hold different events at the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts. There may already be something you and your Girl Scout can join in on with your nearby troops. Now, if there isn’t something currently and you are instead inquiring about how to infuse Disney magic into your Girl Scout organization, then I would love to talk to you about the Disney Imagination Campus. I had the pleasure of talking to a Cast Member about this, and she shared that youth groups, like the Girl Scouts, can work with the Disney Imagination Campus to purchase student tickets for youth groups of 10 or more, and even more incredible, to enhance the visits with workshops and performances at Walt Disney World Resort. I haven’t experienced any of them myself, but how cool would it be to do a science-based experience at Walt Disney World that focuses on audio-animatronics and technology? Or perhaps even immersive storytelling, which no one does better than Disney World. If this is more what you are looking for, then I highly recommend reaching out to a Cast Member at Disney Imagination Campus. They can help make sure you have all you need to create magical memories.

I hope this was helpful, Crystal. Before I let you go, if you are just looking to have a small celebratory trip for your troop, please still reach out to Disney Imagination Campus. They can help you with ticket sales and group planning for scout groups of 10 or more. Once you are here, do me a favor and don’t skip out on Wilderness Explorers at Animal Kingdom. This complimentary activity is perfect for Girl Scouts and will have your troop learning all about animals, conservation, and many other important wilderness skills. With that, I say “Caw! Caw! Roar!” and please come back and see us if you need anything else.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
