    17 yo girl, 13 yo girl, their dad + I in early Dec. x 5d.need help on final choice: dolphin mini suite,cbr preffered,fw cabin, ASMR family suite. Comfort, time(go/relax), buses, magic, experiece are big factors. we're coming fr: alaska.

    Lisa, let me see if I can help you narrow down your Walt Disney World resort choices.

    Your primary factors for choosing a resort are comfort, a place to relax, transportation and a magical theme.

    Let's cross off Caribbean Beach since a preferred room would give you easier access to the pool and food court but would not give your family the extra space that your other resort choices will provide.

    I like the location of the WDW Dolphin for your family. Easy walk or boat ride to Hollywood Studios and Epcot! An executive suite or premium studio will give you modern furnishings with space to relax! The only downfall with the Dolphin is that it does lack some of the magic found at other resorts. Only you can decide if transportation convenience to two parks is more important than magical appeal.

    The Fort Wilderness cabin will fulfill all of your criteria except convenient transportation. While you can take a boat ride to the Magic Kingdom (in addition to bus transport), you'll find that traveling from your cabin to the theme parks will be a bit more timely.

    The All-Star Music Resort family suite will give you space but the accommodations are more motel-like. Value resorts have less amenities than moderate and deluxe resorts. Here, space for the price might be your deciding factor.

    It's important to decide on what criteria is the most important to your family. I would choose Fort Wilderness given your other resort choices and the criteria provided. It may help to look at photos of the resorts. See www.AllEars.Net for lots of pictures!
