    When will the gingerbread house be open at the Grand Floridian?

    Hello Paul and thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with such a delicious question for us to help you with!

    The Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are amongst my most favourite times of the yEAR to visit.  I love everything from all the beautiful Christmas decorations to the seasonal sweet treats and snacks.  Plus of course, I really enjoy taking my time to browse the different Disney Resorts Collection hotels to discover all their unique Yuletide traditions like the sensational life-sized Gingerbread House at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

    Paul, I'm happy to share that although each yEAR can be a little different, generally speaking, Disney Chefs begin constructing the annual Gingerbread House at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa from around mid-November so that it's all ready to be enjoyed by Guests from December 1st.

    I just had to share with you this past Disney Parks Blog article that features an amazing time-lapse video showcasing the creative talents of the Disney Chefs who create the now iconic Gingerbread House at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  

    Additionally, the Disney Parks Blog truly is the very best spot to keep a keen EAR on for all things Disney-related, including perhaps for an announcement of when Guests can enjoy the Gingerbread House at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa this coming winter season at Walt Disney World Resort.
