    When does the gingerbread house arrive at the Grand Floridian?

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! There's truly nothing better than celebrating the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort! My family loves visiting Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa during the holiday season; the life-sized Victorian Gingerbread House is truly a spectacular sight!

    Last year, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa's Gingerbread House opened on November 19, 2015, and I expect the 2016 opening date will be around the same time. Did you know that there's a fully operational store inside the Gingerbread House that sells delicious sweet treats and other items? Cast Members work inside and Guests place orders at the window, which is typically open from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Be sure to try a gingerbread shingle; it's my favorite sweet treat!
