Ahoy Charles!
What I would give to be “part of your world” with an upcoming voyage on Disney Cruise Line! Seriously, I am very excited you sailed by with your question about cruising. If you ask me, there is no better way to explore the high seas than with Captain Mickey.
There are so many "gadgets and gizmos" aplenty to pack for a Disney cruise, especially when it comes to documenting your epic vacation. I had heard of a gimbal before, but it wasn’t until I did a search that I realized it’s a stabilizer for your camera or phone. I’m such a guppy...like Flounder! Having made videos for blogging purposes, I sure have appreciated what a stabilizer provides when filming.
So my first instinct when asked if a “whozit or whatsit” can be taken onboard is to check the list of
What Items Are Not Allowed on a Disney cruise. I didn’t see a gimbal on the list, so I think you’re good to go! Just be sure to use common courtesy when using any photography equipment around other Guests.
Since we’re talking about what you might bring on your cruise, Disney Cruise Line has some great
packing lists that suggest various items you might need for your particular itinerary. And finally, be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. It will help you navigate the daily entertainment and activities. You know, all that stuff you’re going to want to use that gimbal for! The app’s reminder feature is super helpful in making sure Guests stay on time for all the activities, sending reminders about bookmarked experiences so you don’t miss a thing.
Charles, don’t search for a dinglehopper to send more questions to planDisney. Grab that computer and type away! Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure at sea!
SEA ya real soon!
