Hello, I want to take a gimbal to leave my video as a memory. My gimbal is Ozmo Mobile 3. The important thing is that this product doesn't have the ability to extend! I read an article that says no selfie sticks. Would it be hard to take my gimbal?

    Hey Yujin!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It looks like someone is headed to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Thinking of bringing a gimbal into the parks? You’re speaking my language! Capturing the Disney magic is one of my favorite things to do at the parks! I never head to the parks without my camera and tripod. I have so many pictures and videos of my kids growing up at the parks. I often look back and can’t believe how fast they have grown up. At times, I also take a gimbal into the parks so you’ll be happy to hear that they are currently allowed into the parks and not on the list of prohibited items in the parks. The Ozmo Mobile 3 should fold up and fit nicely into a backpack so no problems there either. Do be aware that even though something is not on the list of prohibited items, Disney Security does have the final say on any item. So make sure you’re extra nice on your way in!

Here are a few tips that I use for myself as well. Selfie sticks are not allowed so please don't add anything that would make your gimbal extend. While capturing that smooth footage of all the fun, be mindful of other guests and your surroundings. And my number one rule which you’ll hear on all the dark rides, keep the flash off and save that for open spaces outside. By the time your trip comes around, the new parade “Magic Happens” will be in full swing at Disneyland Park. I’m sure you’ll be capturing smooth footage of all the action.

Well Yujin, I hope you found this information useful and if you have any more questions for us be sure to come back and let us know.

Remember, always believe in the magic!
