A warm welcome from all of us at planDisney to you, Erika. How lucky your employee is to work for such a magic maker! This is going to be one unforgettable trip. Let's talk about how you can step into your Fairy Godmother Era and make gifting a stay at a
Disneyland Resort hotel possible.
I called and chatted with a friendly Cast Member who shared that you can accomplish this either by calling 714-520-7059 or
booking online at the Disneyland website. With both of these options, you will be responsible for the first night's rate plus tax, and this can be charged to your credit card. The remaining balance will be due at check-in. Because this is a gift, I recommend purchasing
Disney Gift Cards that you can give to your employee to pay the remaining balance when they arrive. If you don't want to use your credit card to pay for the first night at the time of booking, you could also use a Disney Gift Card as payment.
Keep in mind that you will need to complete the reservation with their details (name, address, phone number, etc.). The Guest staying at the hotel will also be required to provide a valid credit or debit card at check-in. Lastly, you will also want to make sure to register each Guest during the booking process to ensure they receive their
complimentary Lightning Lane entry, a perk for Guests staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel.
Aaahhh, this is going to be so much fun! Sharing a gift with someone is a gift in itself. If you want to go a step further, you might take a look at the possibility of adding an
In-Room Celebration gift to make things even more magical.
Erika, I hope this is helpful and gives you the confidence to wave your magic wand and say, "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo." Come back to see us with any other questions that you might have. We're always here to help spread some magic.
