I was gifted a Disney gift card with a couple hundred dollars on it and am trying to go to Disney world within two weeks but it’s saying I have $25 on it do they lose value over time?

Hi there, Taylor! Welcome to the planDisney panel, and thank you so much for stopping by with a question for us!

Disney Gift Cards are so much fun, especially when you have a Walt Disney World vacation around the corner! I was able to do some research on Disney Gift Cards, and I learned that they do not have expiration dates. This helpful FAQ page explains many of the policies surrounding gift cards and their use. While I cannot be certain where your card's original funds have been used, you can look at the transaction history by creating an account on DisneyGiftCard.com. There, you will be able to add up to 6 cards to your “My Cards” wallet. Within the “My Cards” wallet, you can view details of any cards added to your account by selecting Transaction History to view transactions that have occurred on that card.

Taylor, did you know that Disney Gift Cards are an easy way to budget for your Walt Disney World vacation expenses in advance? They can be purchased in sums between $5-$1,000 and can be used for most purchases while on vacation! I hope you are excited about your Walt Disney World vacation and would like to invite you to come back and see us again whenever we can help with your planning needs! Before your trip, check out the Experience Updates pages, where you will find invaluable information regarding the phased reopening of the Disney Parks!

    See ya real soon!
