Hi Lan!
Welcome to planDisney! It's so good to have you hEAR. Thank you for stopping by with this Disneyland Resort planning question!
Oh no! This sounds like one of the most wonderful Christmas presents ever! (Who is this fantastic gifter, and do they need a new best friend? Because I might be available.) I have good news, Lan. Yes, Theme Park Admission Tickets that were set to be used or expire in the yEARs of 2020 and 2021 had their
park date expirations extended auto-magically. Most extensions have also already expired, but not to worry because the value paid for your gifted tickets remains in place. What you'll need to do is
call the helpful Ticketing Cast Members at (714) 781-4636 and they can explain
what your options are. (I sadly don't have the proper magic mirror to see inside your
My Disneyland Account,
but they do.) It's possible that they'll simply reissue the original tickets but with a new 2022 barcode. Or, it's possible that they can take the value that was paid and apply it to brand new Theme Park Admission Tickets that are the same or higher value, and you can pay the difference. This can even allow you to add the
brand new Disney Genie+ to your two admission days now so you won't have to worry about it the day of.
I see that your planned visit to Mickey's house is coming up. My advice is to call the Ticket helpline as soon as you can; in addition to needing the new
Theme Park Admission Tickets, each Guest also needs to make a
Park Pass Reservation which kind of tells Mickey which theme park you'll be playing in on which day. Park Pass Reservations tend to book up in the few final weeks before each Disney day; in fact,
hEARs the Park Pass Reservation Availability Calendar.
I hope that this helped to clEAR up your question, Lan! Be sure to check out the
