Oogie Boogie Bash! I attended the first party of the season this year, and Yzma is a fun addition. She was fantastic with her Guest interactions!
To change the name on Oogie Boogie Bash tickets, the original purchaser will need to
call Disneyland Resort and ask to update the names on the tickets. They can call the General Information line at (714) 781-4636 and let the Cast Member know the tickets were gifted to you and the names need to be updated. That said, because a ticket is officially assigned to you once you scan into
Disney California Adventure Park for the party, changing the name usually isn’t necessary on an unused ticket. Just make sure you have it linked to you account on your
Disneyland mobile app.
Now, let’s talk about all the fun you’ll be scaring up! You can enter Disney California Adventure Park at 3:00 PM for the party mix-in, which gives you a perfect chance to enjoy a few attractions and grab a bite to eat before the grim grinning festivities begin! Your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket includes unlimited
Disney PhotoPass digital downloads, but I learned the hard way last year that this benefit does not begin until the 6:00 PM party start time. So, I would hold off on those special photos, like the photo with the Headless Horseman statue, until after the party officially begins!
New this year is
Madam Leota’s Swinging Wake - A Haunted Mansion Street Party. Boy oh boy, it was great! I loved it! The song
will get stuck in your head. This street party is one spooky-swinging performance you don’t want to miss, and it stops in three designated spots along its route. If you want to make sure you have a great view, the
Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party is a ghostly good option! It includes comfortable reserved seating without the long wait beforehand, delicious sweet and savory snacks, tasty party-specific drinks, and a guaranteed view of the performance. We did it on our visit, and we had the best time.
I have one final tip for you! The
treat trails are very generous, and the bag you receive can fill up quickly. We worked themed bags into our costumes, and they were perfect for holding all that delicious Halloween yumminess!
