Imagine the joy on the face of the person who wins a Disney vacation from entering a raffle; the thought alone is tantalizing enough for anyone interested in entering and my family loves incorporating or donating gift cards as prizes at events.

Now without really knowing whether your work raffle is very casual or super serious nor the size of the budget you're working with, here are some general tips and recommendations:

A Disney Gift Card is always a great idea since it allows the winner to have the freedom to use it towards all kinds of vacations at different Disney Destinations of their choice whenever they're prepared to travel in the future. Whether it's Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line or even vacations further out like Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa it's great to know that if the winner of the raffle wanted to use it towards tickets for Disney on Broadway or purchases on shopDisney.com, they have the flexibility to do so!

When it comes to the amount to put on the Gift Card, it's important to remember that the website states that they are currently "Available in denominations starting at $25 up to $500". At the current time, the cost alone for theme park admission at Walt Disney World Resort can be at least $100 for a single day and when comparing room rates for one night at the least-expensive Value Resort Hotels, a single Disney Gift Card with a value closer to the higher end of the denomination limit could cover a day and night spent at Walt Disney World Resort.

Companies can however also take part in the Disney Gift Card Corporate Sales Program which allows you to purchase gift cards in bulk in denominations from $10 to $1,000 as long as you meet the minimum amount required to place a corporate order. This could be handy if you're also considering smaller prizes or gifts to include as part of the raffle. There's also an option to purchase a Disney Gift Card eGift where a scannable barcode is sent digitally; some companies use this option to craft custom gift certificates of their own!
