Hey there Tony,
Welcome to planDisney - we're so glad you stopped by with your question! It is so kind of you to want to send me the gift of Disneyland Resort tickets. Kidding, of course! However, I can't think of a much better gift than tickets to the Happiest Place on Earth!
I'm happy to share that you can gift all kinds of things related to a
Disneyland Resort vacation including
Disney Gift Cards, a
Disneyland Resort Hotel stay, and
theme park tickets.
To purchase the tickets, you'll follow the purchase prompts through to the end and then enter their information when it asks for the name and email of the Guests using the tickets. Conversely,
if you're using Express Checkout, you can select the box labeled "This order will be a gift."If you want this to be a surprise, you can enter your email address instead of the person you're gifting the ticket(s) to and then forward it to them after the big reveal. If you use this method, they might need to link the tickets to their Disney account through the
Disneyland mobile app. Just have them select the menu button, "Tickets and Passes," then "Link Tickets or Passes."
One other note, you currently need both valid theme park tickets and
theme park reservations for each day of your visit to enter one of the parks of the Disneyland Resort. During the ticket purchase process, it will prompt you to make the reservations. You can either select the dates of the trip if you know them, or select dates further out. The person receiving the tickets can change those theme park reservations quickly and easily through the
My Plans hub after they receive them.
Thanks again for your question, Tony, and happy gifting!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
