Welcome back to planDisney, Sheri!
Oh, your visit to
Walt Disney World is so very close--you must be thrilled!
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is an absolutely beautiful place to call home as you vacation, and so many of those comforts of home can be found right there on property...with a little added pixie dust, of course.
As Walt Disney World continues its phased reopening of its theme parks,
Walt Disney World Resort hotels, and
Disney Springs, you'll find the most up-to-date information listed on those official webpages. For example, take a look at
Disney Resort Hotels: Know Before You Go, and you'll see a very helpful list of links to specific hotels' updated information. On the Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort link, you'll see that
Calypso Trading Post is a very convenient shop located at Old Port Royale--the main lobby area for this beautifully-themed resort. When resort shops list "snacks and beverages", these typically include both refrigerated and non-refrigerated bottles of wine, and some shops even offer individually-sized portions of vino for Guests to purchase and enjoy back in the comfort of their rooms. Pair that with some cheese...and maybe even some Mickey-shaped pretzels...and you'll find that the end of a fun-filled park day will be relaxing, indeed.
Also at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, bottles of wine are available for purchase at
Centertown Market, where you may just find a new favorite. Varieties are listed on their menu, so take a look pre-visit. Partner that with a more substantial snack, and cozying up to watch a Disney classic at "home" is sure to be a great night.
If you are heading to
EPCOT, another fun way to explore your options is to stop into the
shops of World Showcase and find some truly lovely, unique choices. We love to visit Italy's
La Bottega Italiana and France's Les Vins de France to uncover some varieties we'd never be able to find at home.
As you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Sheri, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
