Hey there, Steven! Welcome to planDisney and Welcome Home! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with your
Disney Vacation Club question. I just love chatting with a fellow Member!
Genie said, "You ain't never had a friend like me," but it sounds as if your friends ain't never had a friend like
you! It's so generous of you to gift your family and friends a magical stay at one of the fabulous DVC Resorts. I love doing the same thing, and taking friends and family with us on our magical adventures has been one of my favorite things about being a DVC Member. Before DVC, I never would have been able to treat friends and family to a vacation, but my DVC Membership has made that dream a reality. I'm so excited for this dream to come true for you and your friends and family, and I'm thrilled to answer your question today.
If the DVC reservation was made in your friend's name and linked to their
My Disney Experience account, they will have to provide a credit card at online or in-person check-in. So, Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" That means that the authorization hold placed on a credit card for incidentals or room charges will be charged to the card they provide, not yours. BEST. NEWS. EVER!
Speaking of room charges, be sure to let your friends know that the new
MagicBand+ has been released! These brand-new Bands look so cool, and I can't wait to get one next week. Let your friends and family know that they are available for purchase at their DVC Resort, the theme parks and Disney Springs! It's magic time!
I hope this was helpful, Steven! I have a feeling that your generous gift will sprinkle extra pixie dust on you in the future! Please stop by any time with any vacation planning or DVC questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
I hope to see ya real soon,
Mandy
