Hi there, Lori! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
First, let me just say: you are giving the gift of magic, and that is so, so special. I have some truly wonderful, generous family members and friends who have gifted me Walt Disney World Resort hotel stays, and I have cherished the memories their gifts brought into my life, and always connect those wonderful feelings with their kindness. I just love that you’re gifting theme park tickets to someone special, to commemorate something special, or just to sprinkle pixie dust on someone you care about.
Giving Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets is as easy as “bibbidi bobbidi boo!” –
just follow the steps outlined on the Walt Disney World website. You’ll select the tickets you want to purchase, and then proceed to checkout, where you’ll check the “this order will be a gift” box and then enter the recipient’s name. Be sure to enter the recipient’s name the same way as it appears on their government-issued ID, as they will need to present ID, and the gift receipt, at a ticket window in order to pick up the tickets. Once you complete your order, you’ll be emailed a gift receipt, which you can then pass along to the gift recipient.
Lori, if you’d prefer to give a
Disney gift card, that’s always a fantastic option! Just remember that
tickets are date-based, and the admission price does vary based on the day of the visit, so you may want to take a look at the ticket calendar when deciding on the amount to give. The lucky recipient may use a gift card to purchase tickets online or at a theme park admission window, or may use it at dining and merchandise locations throughout the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs.
Now, more than ever, it’s a fantastic time to visit Walt Disney World, and my heart is so happy knowing about your plan to help make the story come alive for someone special.
Let the magic begin!
