Hi, I have over 20 gift cards that I have been saving over the years. I tried to transfer all of them to one card and it is saying not transferable for each one. Why can't i do this? I did this back in 2019 when we took trip with not problems.

Hi Kristen and welcome to planDisney!

I love using Disney Gift Cards to pay for our Walt Disney World vacations!  All of my family knows the best gift for me is a Disney Gift Card because we always have a trip coming up around the corner.

Any one card can hold up to $1000 at a time, so if you're trying to transfer to a card that is already maxed-out to $1000, that may be your issue.  If that's not the case, I'm unsure why you wouldn't be able to transfer them.  The first thing I would do is add the cards to your account, which can be done up to 6 cards at a time, and make sure each one still has a balance.  Once you have them loaded, try and transfer them to the main card.  You can transfer up to 3 linked cards at a time to the main card on your account.  You can also view the transaction history on each of your cards to see if there's anything unusual on the list.  If all of your cards still have an available balance and you're still running into trouble, the best advice I can give is to contact Disney Gift Card and see if they can help you out.  The only way to contact them is through an online inquiry, but in my experience in doing this, they're pretty quick to respond.

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
