    How do I use gift cards to pay for my reservation?

    Hello Crystal!

    Welcome to planDisney! Saving up gift cards to pay for an upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is a genius idea. I always request Disney Gift Cards for every holiday and birthday as I know I will use them. 

    Unfortunately, when paying online with Disney Gift Cards only one gift card can be used along with an additional form of payment like a credit card, if needed. I suggest that if you have many gift cards you try to combine them into one card. Disney Gift Cards can usually hold up to $1000 and card balances can be transferred to one right on the official Disney Gift Card website. If you wish to use even more gift cards then I suggest you call and speak with a Cast Member at New Tickets or Disney Resort Hotel Reservations who can take multiple gift cards as payment for a reservation and tickets. 

    Disney Gift Cards can also be used in the Parks to pay for merchandise and dining! I use it very easily for Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. I note the card number in my phone's note page and then copy and paste it into the payment field when ordering. I love that the page will even let you know what the balance on the card is. It makes planning out my next purchase easy!
