Happiest Greetings on Earth, Monica! Welcome back to planDisney and I'm honored to help you with your question today!
I love using a
Disney Gift Card to be able to cover some expenses as I plan our family's Disneyland Resort vacation! I'm happy to report that you can certainly use your Disney Gift Card for your ticket purchase, but I have a recommendation to help this go a little smoother for you. First, you can opt to combine your multiple Disney Gift Cards into a single balance, up to $1,000 in value. This is a helpful strategy because typically, only one gift card is accepted per transaction when you purchase your theme park tickets. To combine gift cards, you'll want to log in to your account and select the "
My Cards" section. If you haven't yet added the information (such as the 16-digit card number and the security code) then you'll need to follow the prompts to do so. Then, select one card to be your primary gift card and begin the process to "Transfer Funds to This Card." At this time, I understand that only full balance transfers can be processed; you won't be able to transfer only a portion of the funds. And, some cards may be ineligible for a funds transfer, depending on where they may have been purchased or activated. For more details, you can view the
Disney Gift Card FAQs online.
I hope this has been a useful set of suggestions, Monica. I hope you and your loved ones enjoy a fabulous trip to Disneyland Resort in the very near future. If we can help with any other questions you might have or just need some extra inspiration for your magical vacation, please feel welcome to come back to

Magically yours,
