Greetings, Richard. Thank you so much for bringing your question to planDisney. I'm glad you're here!
Disney Gift Cards are one of my payment methods for food and merchandise at the
Disneyland Resort, and they are also wonderful to use on tickets. You've found the catch that you can only use one Disney Gift Card per transaction on ticket purchases via the Disneyland website. The good news is that there is a way to work around this by combining balances onto one card. You will need to head over to
DisneyGiftCard.com and log in to your MyDisney account, which is the same account you use across Disney sites and for the Disneyland website and
Disneyland Mobile App. Select "My Cards" from the top menu and then click "Add A Card" on the next screen. From here, you will need to add all of your gift cards individually (with the Account Number and EAN from the card). Since you've got so many cards, I recommend numbering them with a Sharpie or sticky note on the back as you go to keep them straight. Trust me, I've done this process before, and while it's fairly easy, it's best to be organized. Once you have all your gift cards loaded, choose a primary card to transfer all of the balances onto using the "Transfer Funds to the Card" button. Please note that Disney Gift Cards can only hold a $1000 maximum per card.
Richard, once you have your balances on one card, you are ready to purchase your Disneyland Resort tickets! Before you buy your tickets, be sure to check out the
Offers & Discounts page to see if there are any ticket offers available on the day of your visit. And before your visit, be sure to check out the
Disney Parks Blog to see what exciting and magical events are happening at the resort!
I hope this helps, Richard. If you need any more help, please feel free to
stop by again. I would love to help!
See ya real soon,
Melissa
