Is there a gift card or something similar my parents can buy my children to use when we come down to Disney to buy themselves souvenirs?

Hi there, Jessica! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question!

I’m happy to report that I have the perfect solution for you and your parents! It’s the Disney Gift Card, and it can be used nationwide for all-things Disney! Not only can it be used at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, but it can also be used on Disney Cruise Line, online at shopDisney.com, or even at your local Disney store! Talk about a multi-tasking gift card! Disney Gift Cards can be purchased online and delivered to your email address, or the actual card can be delivered by mail. The cards are available in denominations ranging from $25 to $500. Now for the best part… check out these adorable gift card designs! From The Child to Ariel, there’s a perfect card for every Disney fan!

My three Mouseketeers (ages 4, 6, and 8) absolutely love receiving Disney Gift Cards from my parents. They enjoy saving them for our next Disney adventure, whether it’s at one of the parks, or our local store. They especially love having their own form of currency to use – their own personal “credit card.” I also love that these gift cards help them learn how to budget their money. During our last visit to Walt Disney World Resort in February, my children each had a certain amount to spend for the entire six days. They learned how much things cost, and how to save money for something they truly loved. My older son splurged on pins to add to his growing collection, while my daughter treated herself to a beautiful Anna-themed dress from Frozen. My youngest child was happy with candy and magical light-up toys to enjoy during nighttime spectaculars. You simply can’t go wrong with Disney Gift Cards!

I hope this information helps you and your parents nab the perfect gift for your March vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any other planning questions, please don’t hesitate to stop by planDisney… we’re all EARs!

    Wishing you Disney magic,
    Kristin
