I have a gift card and would like to use it to purchase a park ticket. How do I go about doing that?

Hello there, Jess! Welcome to planDisney. We are thrilled you stopped by to ask us a question.

It looks like you are planning to visit Disneyland Resort very soon, so let's get that question answered so you can purchase a ticket while there are still theme park ticket reservations available. If you have a Disney Gift Card, you most definitely can use that to purchase a theme park ticket from the Disneyland website or Disneyland app. At the checkout screen, there will be a box for Disney Gift Card to check and that will populate a box to enter your account number and EAN for your gift card. If you have a third-party gift card that uses a major credit card logo, you should be able to use that as well as a credit card.

I will note that you can only use one form of payment when checking out, so you will need to make sure you have enough on the balance of your gift card for the entire amount. If you are a little short, I recommend heading to the Disney Gift Card website where you can register your card and then purchase another Disney Gift eCard for the difference of the amount needed to cover the purchase and what you have on your card. Then you can actually combine the two card amounts onto one of the cards to use for your purchase up to $1,000. You can also reload any Disney Gift Card in person at any Disney location that sells the gift cards.

Jess, I hope you find this information helpful! Be sure to stop by again with any planning questions you have!
