I love using a
Disney Gift Card during my trips, it's so nice to know that I already have funds stored on the gift card to use for my favorite snacks or a special souvenir!
It can be tricky sometimes to find all of the numbers on the back of the gift card, but there should be a 16-digit account number as well as an "EAN" number (extended account number) that is the security code for the gift card. You may have to remove the covering from the back of the gift card to reveal the full account number.
If the "Scratch-Off Gently" strip is still intact on the back of the gift card, it is recommended to gently scratch off the grey coating to reveal the full account number. I like to use a coin to help gently scratch off the back coating. If for some reason you're still having issues finding the whole account number, you can
seek further assistance through the Disney Gift Card site.
You are also able to use your Disney Gift Card in the
Disneyland Mobile App during your trip, so I highly recommend downloading the app before your trip. My favorite way to use a gift card in the app is to
mobile order a meal or snacks from our favorite quick service locations. You'll usually find us ordering the QuesaBirria tacos from
Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill, or a Jolly Holiday Combo from
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe!
