    Does Gideon’s bake house in Disney springs accept Disney gift cards?

    Cheryl, welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet to answer all your Disney vacation questions.

    My stomach is rumbling just reading your question. Gideon's Bakehouse at Disney Springs is a must-do for every trip. While the enormous cake slices are truly unique, the cookies were love at first sight. Whether it's the "almost half pound" cookie, Gideon's Bits, or my personal favorite, The Original Peanut Butter Nitro Cold Brew Coffee (holy smokes this is a 3-course meal unto itself) you may pay with cash, credit card, and Disney Gift Cards.

    planDisney Pro Tips: 

    1. Even though Gideon's Bakehouse opens at 10:00 a.m., the line will start to form before 9:00 a.m. The earlier you arrive the better.
    2. Hot Cookie Hour is from 2-3 p.m. and from 7-8 p.m. daily where the Original Chocolate Chip Cookie is served warm and delicious with homemade ice cream. The hard part is waiting that long once you wake up in the morning.
    3. It is not gluten-free. Maybe one day.
    4. Collect the menus and learn about the Pipistrello (Italian for "bat") associated with the bakehouse.
