We have a giant group (about 19 people in total) coming with us this trip. they are depending on me to help plan since I have been more than anyone (mostly first timers in our group) For the Dining Plan, does it start the day you check in? Or the next day?

    Hi Abbie,

I’ve organized gigantic groups of my friends and family members before, so I totally understand where you’re coming from! Don’t worry - we’re here to help you plan a perfect vacation for everyone in your group!

The way that the Disney Dining Plan works is that every Guest in a room that has purchased it as part of their Magic Your Way Vacation Package gets a certain number of dining entitlements per night of their stay. The number and type of entitlements that they will receive depends on the type of Disney Dining Plan that they purchased and the points are pooled together for everyone in the room.

To answer your specific question, Guests can start using the points immediately after check-in, in any order or configuration, until they’re all gone.

    Have a Magical Day,
