When will the giant gingerbread house be on display at the Grand Floridian?

    Hi Christina!

There's something extra special a Walt Disney World Resort vacation during the holiday season! The theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs are filled with special holiday decorations, festive entertainment, tasty treats and more. Be sure to consider adding Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party to your vacation itinerary to celebrate the season during a special evening in Magic Kingdom!

One of my favorite Christmas decorations at Walt Disney World Resort is the incredible life-size gingerbread house at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This will be the 21st year when the gingerbread house is built in this beautiful lobby and I think it should be on everyone's "must-do" list for their holiday vacation. While schedules are always subject to change, generally the gingerbread house at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa takes shape in the lobby in the middle of November. (Last year, Guests were able to begin enjoying the gingerbread house on November 16.) Hopefully, it will be up in time for your trip so you can visit and purchase a gingerbread shingle to enjoy! I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you continue preparing for your holiday vacation because there is often an announcement on the blog about the magical gingerbread decorations that Guests can enjoy throughout Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season.

Let us know if we can help you again as you continue making your vacation plans. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
