My GF and I are visiting WDW from Jan 23 to 30th. I'm proposing to her during our stay. Any ideas for the perfect place and time? can Disney arrange something special for us?

    Hi Jaime,

Congratulations!!!  Getting engaged at Walt Disney World sounds magical.

A friend of mine got engaged at the Magic Kingdom a couple of years ago.  He used a service called Gifts of a Lifetime.  Basically, he and his girlfriend were sitting around the hub in front of the castle.  He left to go get them a Mickey Bar or something.  A member of the Gifts of a Lifetime presented his girlfriend a letter that sent her on a scavenger hunt.  When she reached her destination, he was waiting with a glass slipper and a ring.

The company does a Pre-Event Questionnaire to help customize your surprise.  To find out more about this, go to www.giftsofalifetime.com.

If over the top isn't quite your style, how about a nice romantic stroll along the Polynesian Beach or the Boardwalk?  Time it so that you're popping the question just before the fireworks are scheduled.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation, and I look forward to hearing from you again when you're planning your honeymoon!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
