    DS is going on GF Pirate Adventure. Heard this is 2 hours. Do I have time to go back to MK while he is "at sea"? If not, what other fun things can I do to fill time (other than eating). What is best way to get to/from MK & GF: ferry or m

    Hi Christy!  You do indeed have about two hours while your son is enjoying his trip on the high seas as a Disney pirate!  You have time to return to the Magic Kingdom but remember that it does take time to get to and from and you never know what transportation issues that might come up with the monorails or boats.

    I often suggest that yes, grab a bite to eat, and then walk around the resort and even head to the Polynesian on the pathway that connects the two resorts and passes the Wedding Pavilion.  This is a great opportunity to see these resorts while you wait and check out the amenities and decor of each.

    The best way to get to the Magic Kingdom is via monorail since the park will be the first stop.  To return to the Grand Floridian you can take either the monorail or the boat but often the boat can be a bit faster if it is there waiting for you at the dock since the Grand is the last stop on the monorail.
