Hi Robert!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for bringing your question to us!
I’m delighted to hear you are planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort! I’ve visited a couple of times since reopening and the magic has most certainly returned to "The Happiest Place on Earth!"
As you are already aware, per guidance from the state of California, attendance is currently limited to residents of the state of California. Since you’ll be arriving prior to June 15th, when the
Disneyland Resort will welcome out-of-state Guests, you may be asked for identification at the gate. As a member of the military, based in California, you and your girlfriend may use the address of your military base to secure a reservation. During the reservation process, you will be asked to confirm that you are both living in California. If your girlfriend applied for a new license but has not received it in the mail yet, she should be able to use her temporary California driver’s license. The temporary ID should reflect eligible residency within that state of California. If she’s unable to obtain a temporary ID before your visit, you may be able to provide a copy of a bill or statement with her name and address listed on it.
Please note that the
Disneyland Resort now requires an advanced
Theme Park Reservation in order to visit the theme parks. This reservation is required in addition to your valid admission ticket and can be made up to 60 days in advance. I recommend checking the
Availability Calendar prior to purchasing tickets to confirm your desired date and theme park are available.
I hope this answers your question! Please head back to planDisney if you think of any more!
