Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question! I’m thrilled to hear that your girlfriend is currently having fun in the sun at Walt Disney World Resort… As I stare outside my window at a cold (but beautiful) Canadian winter morning, I can’t help but be a little bit envious.
I love the convenience of paying for my purchases while I’m at Walt Disney World Resort with my MagicBand. It’s great to have everything just charged to my “room” (what the front desk calls your “Guest Folio”) and then to have those charges taken care of at the end of my stay. I’m happy to say that your girlfriend has several options when it comes to clearing those charges out of her account before she checks out of her
Disney Resort Collection hotel. She can head to the
Lobby Concierge at any time and ask to have the account “cleared” and charged immediately to the card she has on file. She can also add another card or even clear off a portion of her charges with a
Disney Gift Card or even cash.
Did you know that you can see a running list of the things that you’ve charged to your Disney hotel room, in real time, with your
My Disney Experience Mobile App? Just click on the “My Resort” button on the main page (you may have to scroll down a bit to find it) and then click on the “View Charges” icon. It’s a handy way to keep track of your spending make sure that there are no surprises on check out day.
