Hi Rhonda. What a wonderful way to combine business with pleasure by bringing your family along for your conference!

My family and I recently enjoyed a week long stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and had a terrific time hanging out at the Beach and Courtyard Pools as well as visiting Gasparilla Grill and Games for some arcade time.

A great unofficial website for all-things-Grand can be found at: www.wherethemagiclives.com. From the main page, select "Accommodations" and then, "Lodges and Views" for an extensively detailed review of each resort building location to include rooms views, photos and a detailed resort map. My family and I stayed at Conch Key Lodge and were amazed at our Cinderella Castle (and nightly fireworks) views from our balcony. We were also just a short ten-minute or less walk to the main building and could catch the ferry transportation to Magic Kingdom Park in less than 5 minutes door-to-marina. Be sure to have any requests noted on your hotel reservation and please keep in mind that unless there is a medical reason, requests are not guaranteed.

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel! Please feel free to send more questions my way prior to your trip!
