Hi, can I get/use a magic band, if I'm not staying on Disney property? We have multiple families going, does each family need one? As far as the memory maker, it says you can share it with your group, how does that work?

    Hi Heather,

YES, even if you are staying off-property, you can obtain MagicBands for each person in your travel party. If you wish to buy them before the trip, purchase them from the Disney Store online or via the Shop Disney Parks app. If you opt to buy them after arriving at the Walt Disney World Resort, you can simply use the app to locate your favorite MagicBand designs. Alternatively, visit the MagicBand on Demand store, where each family member can create their very own MagicBand.

Be sure to link Theme Park Tickets, MagicBands, and Disney Memory Maker through your My Disney Experience account. Ask the planner in each of the other families to create their own My Disney Experience accounts, and then you may Invite Family & Friends to Plan and Share together. Here are step-by-step instructions for adding Family & Friends to your list. This will enable you to view, download and share Disney Memory Maker photos in a variety of ways.

Wishing you a most unforgettable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
