Well hello, Ellie! Welcome to planDisney where my pals and I are here and happy to help with whatever planning needs you may have. Thanks so much for dropping by!
It sounds like you have some fun and adventure ahead with the Disney Cruise Line. Congratulations on your first Disney Cruise! There is
SO much magic waiting for you on board. I can't wait for you to experience it all as you board the
Disney Wonder in just a few short weeks. The countdown is on!
I reached out to a Guest Service agent from the Disney Cruise Line to inquire about any scheduled themed nights for your upcoming voyage. As of now, the second evening of your sailing is an optional dress-up night. While cruise casual attire is acceptable in all of the main dining rooms throughout your voyage, you may choose to wear more formal attire for this night. You can actually dress more formally any evening of your cruise (and there are certain
dress codes if you will be dining at
Palo), but you will see many of the passengers onboard dressing up for the occasion on the second night of your sailing.
Now, in regards to any other themed nights onboard ... you may have heard of a thing called pirate night? Well, while that was not officially on the schedule, you may find that pirates choose to crash your party onboard anyway. I've been hearing that this is happening more recently and pirates can be unpredictable. If you'd like to dress up as a buccaneer for the occasion but don't want to pack anything, your stateroom host will provide bandanas for your sailing crew to get into the spirit of things.
I hope I've pointed your compass in the correct direction as you chart your course for adventure! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any more questions.
Magic awaits,
Adrianna
