We are getting to WDW on Sat 3/1/14 around 11 am. Originally we were arriving around 4 pm. Would we be able to use our dining plan for lunch in Downtown Disney before actually checking into the resort?

    Hi JoAnn,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We frequently start our Walt Disney World vacations with some time at Downtown Disney. You will need to check in at your resort if you want to use your dining plan credits for lunch. The great news is you don't have to wait until 4PM to check in. You can check in to your resort and activate your dining credits when you arrive. Your room more than likely won't be ready until later in the day, but you can begin your vacation!

Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you!
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
