    We are getting to All Stars at 6 and have a reservation at 8 for Chef Mickey's. We will have a car. Should we drive or take a shuttle? If we drive, how long will it take and how do we get there. If the shuttle is best, how long and what route? Thanks!

    Danielle, since you will have a car I would most definitely use that as your transportation for your first night.  The drive itself should only take about 15 minutes. If you use the Disney transportation it will take at least 40 minutes.  Your resort front desk or concierges will be glad to help you and give you directions with a map. It is not difficult to get around the property.

    Once you arrive at the Contemporary the gate guard will want to see your parking pass in the window which you will get when you check into your resort.  You can ask him where to park for short term.  Or you can park using the valets at the front door and this would cost you $12.
