We are getting a rental car one day and spending the day at the beach. Is there a way to use our dining credits to get a lunch that morning from the hotel restaurant to take with us to the beach? Do they have lunch items ready first thing in the morning?

Hello Sara! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Sometimes when I'm in the midst of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation I forget that there the Florida beaches and the Atlantic Ocean are only hours away.

At many Quick Service Dining Locations across Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, there are many grab and go options for food that Guests may grab for their day at the Theme Parks and beyond.

If you visit very early in the morning, many of these options will be of the breakfast variety, although you may find some options that suit your needs for lunch. If not, feel free to inquire with a Cast Member at the Dining Location if there is any possibility of getting some lunch options for your day. You will be relegated to any grab and go lunch options that they have available as the kitchens will probably not be ready to prepare lunch items early in the morning.

As far as your preparation is concerned, Cast Members will do everything they can to accommodate their Guests and make their vacation more magical and it never hurts to ask.

If this does not work out, remember that your Disney Dining Plan credits are redeemable at any time during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation and do not need to be used on specific days. Perhaps you will need to save your Disney Dining Plan credits on your beach day and splurge for 2 meals the next?

    Have a Magical vacation!
