Ahoy Kathleen,
How exciting to be getting ready to cruise on the Disney Magic! I am sure that you will have a magical sailing.
If you would like to order a gift for your children to find in your stateroom when you set sail, you can head to the
Disney Onboard Gifts site. There, you can link your reservation to order a gift, or you can peruse the available gifts by departure port. The Captain Minnie Sailing Package and the Captain Mickey Explorer Pack include items that your children can use while on your voyage, such as backpacks and hats!
We once had our stateroom bedecked with birthday decorations for a voyage on which we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. She still uses the beach towel that came with the package now, many years later! Check out the answer to this frequently asked question for more information about
ordering in-room gifts for your Disney cruise. Please note that you do need to order gifts at least three days prior to your sail date.
Another option would be for you to bring a gift onboard with you in your luggage that you do not tell your children about and set it up once onboard at a time when they are not in the stateroom. Similarly, you could purchase a gift once you are on the ship and set it up for them as a surprise. There is so much wonderful merchandise available at the
shops on the Disney Magic - I am sure you could find something fabulous for your children at
Mickey's Mainsail or one of the other wonderful onboard shopping venues.
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Kathleen! Please do feel free to come back to planDisney with any further questions.
